Baked Tofu

INGREDIENTS

  • 12-15 oz block of extra-firm tofu

    • cut into bite-sized cubes.

    • layer flat on a tea towel, and cover the top with a tea towel.

    • place weights atop for 15-20 minutes, draining the tofu of excess water.

  • 2 tbsp of oil

  • 1 tbsp of cornstarch

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat your oven to 400F.

  2. In a bowl, toss your pressed tofu with the oil. Then, mix in the cornstarch till all bites are evenly coated.

  3. Line the tofu onto a baking sheet in an even layer. Bake for 30 minutes, tossing the tofu at the 15-minute mark. Tofu should be golden around the edges.
